Lights draw attention and make things visible; a camera captures what's happening so others can see it; and action — from a root word meaning "to do" — is the part that brings everything to life. In the same way, believers have been set apart to be the light of the world, put on display so that those around them can see what it looks like when a life is surrendered to the King. From the very beginning, the gospel has turned the world upside down and drawn its attention, because there is another King, and His name is Jesus.
But identity is meant to produce more than admiration; it's meant to produce action. They were given to shape the course of your life. Following the example of Jesus, who did exactly what the Father told Him, we prepare our minds for action, renew our thinking, and live out of who we already are in Christ rather than striving to earn what grace has already provided.

Live From Identity: You don't act in order to earn God's acceptance — you act because you've already received it. Let everything you do flow out of who you already are in Christ.

Ask Daily: Begin each day by asking the Lord for opportunities to be salt and light. Stay in tune with the Holy Spirit and watch for the people He places in your path.

Share Your Story: Tell others what God has done in your life and invite them into His kingdom. You never know when your words might reach someone in their lowest moment.
